Personal Pontifications
It's not trying to be humble, but at least right now I genuinely believe that most ideas aren't particularly novel. The way these ideas are manifesting in my head, I want to spend some cycles on them, put them to paper or digital paper, and share that with others. I am in no way trying to suggest that any of these ideas are my own, because the large majority of what I know comes from the written word and personal experience. Most of that written word has come from others who have experienced life far more than I have, and far more richly than I have, and in my own personal experience, those experiences have come to shape how I reason.
I work through these ideas here not to claim them, but because I have been equipped with a reasoning mechanism that wants to improve itself, and writing is how I exercise it. In working a thought through, I inevitably find the gaps in it. So in an absolute sense my reasoning does improve, and yet in a relative sense it depreciates, because every gap I close only reveals how many more are still open.
If any of this resonated, or you think I have it wrong, I would genuinely like to hear it.
